 LETTER TO SHARE WITH CONGREGANTS

WHY EDUCATION ABOUT HEARING PROTECTION IS IMPORTANT FOR JEWISH YOUTH AND FAMILIES

For families to understand the importance of educating their children about hearing safety, it is critical for them to hear from their trusted Rabbis and Day School educators about the dangers of Noise-Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and the importance of its prevention.

Below, please find a letter you can share with your congregants explaining (1) what NIHL is, (2) their risk for this type of permanent (and preventable!) hearing damage, and (3) four actionable ways to protect their hearing.
